Grammy 2006 - Gorillaz & Madonna


A year ago,I was wowed by the spectacular performance of Madonna at the opening for the Grammy awards. Teaming up with the Gorillaz, they did a medley of "Feel Good Inc./Hung Up". I just love the part where the song transition took place and the appearance of Madonna, where you could feel the whole party is getting started.

This year's Grammy, I was wowed by Shakira's performance of the 2006 Number One Song, "Hips Don't Lie", together with Wyclef Jean. Started off with an Indian-Arabian sounding song intro, she went on to showcase what-she-always-good-at those belly-dancing skills and heat up the whole atmosphere at the show.

Another artist to mention was Queen of R&B/Soul, Mary J. Blige, where she gave a very powerful performance of "Be Without You" and "Stay With Me" that evening. Felt she could have bagged awards more than the Dixie Chicks.
