Code Red
Gosh, i realised that i've been spending quite alot on movies recently...
There's really just too many good movies to catch this summer: Take The Lead, MI:3, Poseidon, The Wild, When A Stranger Calls, The Da Vinci Code, Over The Hedge... and the upcoming X-Men 3, Superman, Pirates of the Carribean 2 and etc... Almost all are what i've watched or goin to watch...
Anyway I just caught The Da Vinci Code yesterday, after the steamboat dinner. Well tink I should say this, it's a movie tat really got yours truly watching it with "a head of mist water" (一头雾水) ...
I dunno if it makes any difference if i read the book before watching the show or vice-versa. But seriously, i had so many question marks tat came poppin in my mind during the show that i was like, "Huh? Why this? Why that?" Feeling oh so lost like watching a 'Lost' series on the tv.
Thatz why itz hard for me to expl wat the whole story is abt coz even i myself oso got confused...
Well the beginning part of the show is pretty boring ( i nearly dozed off ) coz itz juz lotta dialogue between the male and female lead ( starring Tom Hanks, who looks like he have a bad hair day in it, and the beautiful Audrey Tautou ). Itz only towards the end tat it start to get abit exciting as they went round searching for clues to break the "code" and lotta twist and turns in the end.
I guess the only thing tat really catches my attention is the arguments tat they brought up of the relationship between Jesus and his supposedly so-called wife, Mary Magdalene, and oso the unveil of the hidden secrets behind the Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece, "The Last Supper".
No wonder one of the editors of The Straits Times says, if da Vinci were alive today, he might well sue the socks off Dan Brown.
