Sing, Sing, Sing

Oh well, yesterday just went for a session of karaoke with pals, Muk and James.

We met up in town for afternoon tea initially but ended up nothing to do thereafter (since no intention for shopping and no nice movies to catch), and so they suggested goin to the nearby Orchard Cineleisure K-Box for karaoke singing. It was a good idea coz i have never been to a KTV before also.

I wasn't really an avid fan of karaoke singing (well i do like to sing but only in my bathroom...) and plus most frenz around me weren't tat so much into this activity as well, thus explains why my seldom visits to KTV.

And so there we were, for like 2 hours plus, we took turns singing non-stop of those songs that we dedicate, while at the same time munching away those bowls of crackers and nuts and had it refilled over and over again. I think we are the only group who keeps asking for more refill and the staff who serve us must be feeling quite displeased having to make so many rounds to our room.

Well on the whole, we had a wonderful time singing our hearts out, heck caring whether we sound good or not (who cares, it's not an idol competition). And i have to say, after the singing session i felt really good coz it did helped in relieving whatever stress and troubles i had. And from there i also realised that the three of us actually have own individual singing strength. Like Muk is good at Cantonese songs, James is into Wong Lee Hom, as for me, i was coping well with Stefanie Sun. Ha!

Well i'm not sure about other KTV places but i thot singing at K Box is almost like watching a movie at GV Marina Square - equally COLD! And then they got quite a bad microphone problem, like you and your fren cannot sit close together to sing otherwise you will suffer a deafening pitch distortion.
