ScareFest

No doubt it's the seventh month now, but it seems tat some things in real life actually horrifies me more than any encounters of those third kinds.

From wat i've gathered, below are some of the "horrifying" stuff tat occurred in the month of the ghouls:
- Japan's PM Koizumi's visit to Yashukuni war shrine
- Terrorism in the west
- Increase in our local taxis', buses' and trains' fares ~ most horrifying!!!
- More SG youths on risks of contracting sex diseases
- NTUC's locker abandoned dead baby
- The "study Mamas and Papas customers of massage parlours" saga
- Referring to The Straits Times editor, Ms Sumiko Tan's article ("I Want To Be Wired", Lifestyle, 13 August), who said that she absolutely hve no idea on how to create a PowerPoint slide, when even primary sch kids oso know how. o_0"... I didn't knw she can be more of a computer idiot than i am. =p
- Local comedienne (or more famously known as the daughter of the "MacDonald's Granny"), Abigail Chay, was, actually once a guy.

As for my own "horrifying" experiences, apart from the 2 nights of extreme partying which left me "horribly" pissed-off, tired (and poorer by a dozen too), the recent catching of the Thai horror flick "Ghost Game" would add on to it.

Imagine covering my ears by sticking my fingers into it throughout the whole show, squirming my eyes when it comes to a "something-will-pop-out-any-moment" kind of scene..., tatz exactly how horrifying i thot the movie was.

Seriousy speaking, i'm as timid as a mouse when it comes to watching horror/thriller flicks. Why coz i hate those sudden surprise-attack scenes which usu comes wif loud sound effects, and makes me all so stressed-up and uncomfortable over it. I tink the pple who's sitting beside me while in the movie, are oso being stressed by me more than the hideous-looking ghost on the screen. They probably thot i'm gonna have a heart attack anytime.

But anyway, i thot the show producers did put in effort in inputting some fear factor into this movie, although its story plot is like so-so only. Some parts of it are pretty lame as well.

I've also noted another "horrifying" thing, tat the fierce ghost killer in it looked kinda like the late Chinese comrade, Mao Tze Tong, as well as one of the actors who beared some resemblance to S'pore Idol 2 contestant, Joakim.
