Discover Singapore
Mention Seletar Camp and what comes to mind: Ulu, eerie, old, dilapidated World War II buildings; Airbases; Colonial houses; and the favourite among taxi driver uncles - The need to change passes at the now-defunct old guardhouse in the past.
If you really explore Seletar Camp, you will realised how huge the area is. It is home to a number of expats living in those colonial houses, an airport for private jets-flying purposes, the Singapore Youth Flying Club, the many road names that you can also find in London town, golf courses, as well as home to the SAF Bridging and Chemical Defence Combat Engineers (where my NS stint is).
I love this place - for its tranquility, peace, green and unobstructing skies... :)
