I'm dreaming of a Wet Christmas

Rain is here.

Two kinds I'm talking about. One's the Korean King of Pop, Rain, who will be showering us with his songs and grooves at the Singapore Indoor Stadium coming 21st January next year.

The other's the torrential downpour brought by the annual north-east monsoon season, which has caused severe floods in areas of Singapore, such as those nurseries in Thomson Road. And it's even raining right now on Christmas's Eve.

Let's just pray the rain will stop when evening comes, otherwise whatever preparations for a concert cum party in Orchard Road by performers to celebrate Christmas, will, like the rain, go down the drain.

And so it is Christmas. Right, well I hardly celebrate it though. The most I'd do is just find some friends, have dinner and hang-out together. Or maybe even clubbing, which I'll be doing so later tonight. Heh.

Well it's kind of a good thing I guess. Don't need to panick and crack my head about what Christmas gifts to get for people, especially when they get really choosy nowadays. You can't get them stuff like chocolates, sweets, photo frames, soft toys, clothes and fashion accessories because they topped the 'Top 5 list of least-desired gifts' by Singaporeans.

As for me, if there's one thing I want for Christmas, that would probably be a nice cardigan sweater from either Top Man or GAP, like this:

Well it's still not too late to get one for me. As I was told, there are 12 days of Christmas, or you can even save it for my coming double-two birthday. Ha!
