September 11 2006 - The day that I called it quit to this lousy-shit job that I have been holding on for the past two months. Seriously, i just can't hardly wait to get out of this job which had made me so sick, tired and unhappy of everything.
I can simply tell you all the 101 reasons to why everything about this job is bad.
(1) No proper job title: Being neither a computer engineer nor a computer technician and can't think of any other suitable terms for it, which usually end up giving a very vague answer of - "I deal with computers" - when people ask what i'm doing as.
(2) "Nomadic" job scope: One moment you'll be working in the office, the next moment you're out running errands and the next next moment you probably find yourself at a crowded shopping mall in town pushing a trolley around - not to shop but to do a roadshow setup - and then hoping not to get recognised.
(3) Extreme distances of workplace: The head office in Bedok (East) and NTU (west). I lost count of the number of times that i need to top-up my EZ-link card.
(4) People factor: The sly-as-slyvester and unreasonable loan shark-looking boss of the company; The two demanding Tyrants of the West (NTU). One's a Tripitika and the other a Pigsy. And all that weirdos and geeks seen in the Bedok office who are happily married to their computer wives.
(5) Money matters: Not only a late payment of salary, and now they're taking money back when I can't fullfill their requirement of working for 3 months and not 2 months, in order to have the $1.4k pay.
