Students In Trouble

My second younger sister has not go to school for the past two days. Not that she's playing truant, or was her school kind enough to give them study breaks knowing that exams are around the corner, but she was down with a terrible diarrhoea.

Now the reason I'm saying this is because, I believed she's one of the 290 students hit by suspected poisoning at Ang Mo Kio Secondary School. Shocking, isn't it? These affected students were down with vomiting, diarrhoea and nausea - the very same symptoms that my sister had showed.

The incident came about on Tuesday after some students and teachers had reported sick and took half-day's leave from school; and then they discovered there was a large number of absentees who had taken medical leave on the same day which further raises their suspicions. Investigation is still under-going and at the moment they have shut off the school's water supply and close down the canteen stalls as a precaution.

So, as a compensation for what she excretes out, my sister is going to enjoy a nice treat of Khong Guan's biscuits and Yeo's packet drinks next week when she goes back.
