One Moment of Fame. Ha!

What an interesting moment of the day.

Two of my frenz sent me an sms this morning saying, "Hey look! Your blog is featured in today's copy of the Straits Times's Digital Life. Check it out!"

"Huh what? R u sure?? It can't be...", I replied.

True enough, as i hurriedly flipped thru the pages of Digital Life (the most immediate thing tat i do as i got home from work), one of my blog entries was indeed being published under their blogosphere column. (A weekly feature of small excerpts of other people's blogs.)

The entry they printed was from my previous post - "For the Singapore Patriotic Only" - in which they were doing a National Day special for the column. Ai yoh I really wanna laugh when i saw it coz it was just so lame (or rather for me being so lame) changing the lyrics of tat Madonna's latest tune to become a patriotic song hahaha... =D
Maybe if Madonna were to hold a concert here she can sing this version for us. Ha!

Then again i'm really quite surprised as to how my blog could hv got "discovered" when i didn't advertise it on the net, have sponsors like how some other bloggers did and my blog is not tat fun to read also.

Nevertheless i thot it was quite a happy and honourable thing tat my JFTB blog can actually hve the chance to be featured on a newspaper tat is read by majority in S'pore everyday, even if it was just a small lame excerpt. =p
