85ers

Ok so i guess it's another false alarm again with regards to that i need to vote for election this year. Law says all Singaporeans of 21 years and above must vote, BUT!, read carefully, only exclude those who turn 21 in 2006. Yar so, that's why...

And before this my mum was so excited (even more than i do!) when she thot i can vote and considering it will be my 1st time to do so. But it's ok, dun nid to vote oso good, save the trouble. =p

It's the same scenario as the last time abt the progress package, thinking i would be able to get the extra 800 dollars but in the end only 100 bucks for my NS. Made me happy for nothing.

Anyway just the other day me and my frenz were actually talking abt how we 85ers (1985-borned kids) were like the guinea pigs for everything - the do away with the SAT requirement, reduction of NS, changing style of duffle-bags, 5 days working week, and this progress package... mmm... at the moment could only think of these... but out of those i mentioned, only a few benefits us. I still feel the 85ers are always put at a disadvantage. Hmmph!
