Wild, Wild Wet

What a day of so much Splish and Splashing and gettin wet...

Afternoon went swimming at YCK pool rgt after i went to Nee Soon Camp to do my dental FFI. These few days the sun was rather good in the early part of the day, up-bright and sunny, wat a waste it would be if never let myself get heated by the sun. Afterall i really deserve a good tan to get rid of those ugly army smart no.4 tannlines...

Mmmm... Long time no swim and it really feels so good having the water splashing against my body... Tatz one thing i like abt gg to the pool on a wkday. Less crowd, less children's and instructors' shoutings, less blowing of whistles, less amateur swimmers to cut ur path of swim... everything's juz so perfect...

End of part 1 of gettin wet. Part 2 comes in the evening when me, James and Muk were at Orchard Cine watching Poseidon - a movie with characters gettin WET in it.

Words can't express how fantastic this movie is.

A remade of the 1972 film, originally titled, "The Poseidon Adventure" and was dubbed 'the Mother of all Disasters Movies' at tat time ( the 70s is most famous for its disaster-themed flicks, not just disco and the kitsch fashion ).

You can also regard it as the 'Titanic of the Millenium', except it is not as draggy as compared to the former.

It's abt this cruise ship, Poseidon, which got capsized by a huge, towering rogue wave ( think tsunami ) while on its way to NY, killing everyone on abroad except for a group of lucky survivors, who had fought their way out.

Every part of the scenes is just so exciting. Watching how those characters got across with all sorts of obstacles to get to the ship's bottom ( now had become the top after it capsized ), which is their only way out out of the fast-sinking ship. Another deserving reason to watch this show is its cast of beautiful people, therez Emmy Rossum ( last remembered for playing Christine in 'the Phantom of the Opera ) and Stacy Ferguson of the Black Eyed Peas, who played a small role as a saucy stage singer in it.

Thumbs up, no..., all my ten fingers up for this movie.

Part 3 - the sudden heavy downpour at nite. Thk god it ended b4 i was on my way home frm supper at Wheelock NYDC.
